Key Concepts: Write-protect mode is a feature of the SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) PIN Portal Infrastructure component. It is used to protect the data stored in the portal from being changed or deleted. This mode is enabled by setting a flag in the portal's configuration file. How to use it: To enable write-protect mode, open the portal's configuration file and set the flag to "true". Once enabled, any changes or deletions made to the portal's data will be blocked. Tips & Tricks: Write-protect mode should only be enabled when absolutely necessary, as it can prevent users from making changes or deleting data that they need to access. It is also important to remember to disable write-protect mode when it is no longer needed.
