Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Property Editor is a feature of the SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) PIN Portal Infrastructure component. It allows users to create and edit properties for portal objects, such as pages, iViews, and roles. Properties are used to define the behavior of the portal objects, such as their appearance, access rights, and other settings.

    How to use it:
To use the Property Editor, users must first select the object they want to edit. Then they can open the Property Editor by clicking on the “Properties” button in the toolbar. The Property Editor will then display a list of available properties for that object. Users can then edit the properties as needed.

    Tips & Tricks:
When editing properties, it is important to remember that some properties are dependent on other properties. For example, if you change a property that affects the appearance of an object, you may need to also change other related properties in order for the changes to take effect.
