  Room Access Mode is a feature in the SAP Knowledge Management Collaboration Basic Tools component. It allows users to control who can access a room and what type of access they have. Room Access Mode can be set to either “Public” or “Private”. 
  
  How to use it: 
  When creating a room, the user can choose the Room Access Mode. If the user chooses “Public”, anyone with access to the room will be able to view and contribute to it. If the user chooses “Private”, only users who have been invited to the room will be able to view and contribute to it. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When setting up a room, it is important to consider who needs access and what type of access they need. If the room is for internal use only, it is best to set the Room Access Mode to “Private”. If the room is for public use, it is best to set the Room Access Mode to “Public”.
