What is subscriber in SAP EP-KM-CM - KM Content Management?

  • Description: One of the two parties involved in using the content exchange service the other one being the syndicator. The subscriber uses the content exchange service to obtain content that is specified in a subscription offer from the syndicator.

    A subscriber in SAP EP-KM-CM KM Content Management is a user who has subscribed to a particular content item. Subscribers are notified when the content item is updated or changed. Subscribers can also be notified when new comments are added to the content item. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To subscribe to a content item, users must first log into the SAP EP-KM-CM KM Content Management system. Once logged in, users can navigate to the content item they wish to subscribe to and click the “Subscribe” button. This will add the user as a subscriber to the content item and they will receive notifications when the content item is updated or changed. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to note that subscribing to a content item does not give the user any additional permissions or access rights. The user will only be notified of changes and updates to the content item.
