  • Key Concepts:
The SAP repository is a central storage location for all the objects used in the EIM-DS Data Services. It stores the data flows, jobs, and other objects that are used to create and manage data integration processes. The repository also stores the metadata associated with each object, such as its name, description, and version.

    How to use it:
The repository is accessed through the Data Services Designer, which is a graphical user interface (GUI) for creating and managing data integration processes. The Designer allows users to create and edit objects in the repository, as well as view and manage existing objects. The Designer also provides access to the repository’s metadata, which can be used to track changes to objects over time.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating or editing objects in the repository, it is important to save your changes frequently. This will ensure that any changes you make are not lost if the system crashes or if you accidentally close the Designer without saving your work. Additionally, it is important to keep track of the version of each object in the repository so that you can easily revert back to an earlier version if needed.
