What is consolidation status in SAP EC-CS - Consolidation?

  • Description: A means for consolidation units and consolidation groups to control and monitor the sequence of individual consolidation tasks. The consolidation status shows the tasks that have already been performed, by whom, and those that are still to be performed or cannot yet be.

    Consolidation status is a feature of the SAP EC-CS Consolidation component. It is used to track the progress of a consolidation process and to determine when the consolidation process is complete. The consolidation status can be set to either “In Progress” or “Completed”. 
    
    How to use it: 
    The consolidation status is set by the user when they initiate a consolidation process. The user can select either “In Progress” or “Completed” as the status for the consolidation process. Once the consolidation process is complete, the user can then change the status to “Completed”. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to remember to set the consolidation status to “Completed” once the consolidation process is finished. This will ensure that all data is properly consolidated and that any errors are identified and corrected.
