    A CBE number (Cross-Border Electronic Number) is a unique identifier assigned to a company by the European Commission. It is used to identify companies that are registered in the European Union and are involved in cross-border electronic transactions. The CBE number is required for companies to be able to use the DC-PEPPOL Document Compliance-PEPPOL (DC-PEPPOL) component of SAP. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In order to use the DC-PEPPOL component of SAP, companies must first obtain a CBE number from the European Commission. Once they have obtained the CBE number, they can then enter it into the DC-PEPPOL component of SAP in order to enable cross-border electronic transactions. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to note that the CBE number is only valid for one year and must be renewed annually in order for companies to continue using the DC-PEPPOL component of SAP.
