  • Key Concepts:
Transition is a term used in the SAP CRM-MD-PRO-OBJ Objects component. It refers to the process of changing the status of an object from one state to another. This can be done manually or automatically, depending on the type of object and the rules set up for it.

    How to use it:
In order to use transition, you must first define the states that an object can be in. This is done by creating a transition table, which lists all of the possible states and the conditions that must be met in order for an object to move from one state to another. Once this is done, you can then set up rules for when an object should transition from one state to another.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up transition rules, it is important to consider how often an object will transition and what conditions need to be met in order for it to do so. This will help ensure that objects are transitioning in a timely manner and that they are transitioning correctly.
