  • Description: A system object used to classify each tax item. The nota fiscal tax type describes: What sort of tax the tax is for example, ICMS, IPI, or subsituição tributária Whether the tax is output tax or input tax, whether it is deductible, nondeductible, and so on When a billing clerk prints a nota fiscal using SAP CRM, the system uses the nota fiscal tax types to decide which taxes to print in which boxes. When the nota fiscal is replicated to SAP R/3, the nota fiscal tax types are stored in the nota fiscal document there for the purposes of displaying the document and for statutory reporting purposes.
