Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) is a component of SAP's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module. It is used to automate the collection of tolls from vehicles passing through toll plazas. It uses an electronic tag or transponder to identify the vehicle and deduct the toll amount from the driver's account. This eliminates the need for manual toll collection and reduces traffic congestion at toll plazas.

    How to use it:
To use ETC, drivers must first register their vehicles with the ETC system. They will then be issued an electronic tag or transponder which must be affixed to their vehicle. When they pass through a toll plaza, the tag will be scanned and the toll amount will be deducted from their account.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to ensure that your vehicle is registered with the ETC system before you pass through a toll plaza. If your vehicle is not registered, you may be charged a penalty fee. Additionally, make sure that your electronic tag or transponder is properly affixed to your vehicle so that it can be scanned correctly.

    Related Information:
SAP's CRM-ITT-ETC Electronic Toll Collection component is part of a larger suite of CRM tools designed to help businesses manage customer relationships more effectively. Other components include marketing automation, customer service, and analytics tools.
