    The reserve period in SAP CRM-IM-IPM Intellectual Property Management is a period of time during which a customer can reserve a product or service. During this period, the customer is not allowed to make any changes to the product or service. The reserve period is typically set by the customer and can range from a few days to several weeks. 
    
    How to use it: 
    The reserve period can be set up in SAP CRM-IM-IPM Intellectual Property Management by going to the “Reserve Period” tab in the product or service configuration. Here, you can set the start and end dates for the reserve period. Once the reserve period has been set, it cannot be changed until it has expired. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to remember that the reserve period is only applicable to products and services that are being reserved by customers. If a product or service is not being reserved, then the reserve period does not apply.
