What is partner rule in SAP CRM-BTX-PRV - Provider Transactions?

  • Description: Check that ensures that master agreement partners are authorized to create a release order. To do so, various criteria are defined in a partner rule and are assigned to a master agreement or master agreement item. Only those master agreement partners who meet the critera specified here are authorized to create a provider order with reference to this master agreement or master agreement item. They constitute a separate group. &Example& Instead of entering all partners authorized to create a release order separately, the IC agent can assign these using a defined partner rule, such as the group of entitled partners, who meet the criterion 'Ab....'. When the system creates the partner order with reference to the master agreement or master agreement item, the corresponding partner rule is then used to check whether the name of the partner attempting to create the release order meets the defined criteria and starts with 'Ab...'.
