  Topsides adjustment is a feature in SAP Controlling (CO) that allows users to adjust the cost of a cost element or cost center. This adjustment is made to the top-level of the cost element or cost center, and is not allocated to any of its sub-levels. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To make a topside adjustment, users must first access the “Cost Element” or “Cost Center” screen in SAP Controlling. Then, they must select the “Topsides Adjustment” option from the menu. This will open a window where users can enter the amount of the adjustment and specify whether it is an increase or decrease. Once the adjustment is entered, users can save it and it will be reflected in the cost element or cost center. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When making a topside adjustment, it is important to remember that it will not be allocated to any of the sub-levels of the cost element or cost center. Therefore, if an adjustment needs to be allocated to a specific sub-level, it must be done manually. Additionally, it is important to note that topside adjustments are not reversible and cannot be undone once they are saved.
