Key Concepts: A period-end partner in SAP Controlling (CO) is a partner that is assigned to a cost center or cost object for the purpose of allocating costs and revenues. This partner is used to assign costs and revenues to the correct cost center or cost object at the end of a period. How to use it: In order to assign a period-end partner, you must first create a partner in the Partner Master Data (PMD) application. Once the partner is created, you can assign it to a cost center or cost object in the Cost Center Master Data (CCMD) application. You can also assign a period-end partner to an internal order in the Internal Order Master Data (IOMD) application. Tips & Tricks: When assigning a period-end partner, make sure that you select the correct partner type. The partner type should be “Period-End Partner” in order for the partner to be used for period-end allocations.
