  • Key Concepts: Planned order quantity is a term used in SAP's CO-PC Product Cost Controlling component. It is the quantity of a material that is planned to be produced or procured in a given period of time. This quantity is determined by the system based on the material requirements planning (MRP) run.
    How to use it: The planned order quantity can be found in the MRP list. It is displayed as the “Reqmts Qty” column. The planned order quantity can also be found in the material master record, under the “Planning” tab.
    Tips & Tricks: The planned order quantity can be adjusted manually if needed. This can be done by entering a new value in the “Reqmts Qty” column in the MRP list, or by changing the value in the material master record.
    Related Information: The planned order quantity is used to determine the total cost of production or procurement for a given period of time. It is also used to calculate the total cost of materials for a given period of time.
