• Description: The faces or polygons that appear on the reverse side of a model. To reduce file size when rendering, you might only render those faces or polygons that can be seen, therefore ignoring anything backfacing. Essentially, you would be creating one-sided objects. So, as an individual shape, if the model was rotated in space, you would actually see nothing when viewing it from the 'inside' perspective.

  When using the back face feature, it is important to remember that some objects may not have a visible back side. In these cases, the back face feature will not be available. Additionally, some objects may have multiple sides that can be viewed with this feature. To switch between sides, users can click on the “Next Side” button in the toolbar or right-click on an object and select “Next Side” from the context menu.
