  • Key Concepts:
A resource management group (RMG) is a component of the SAP Multiresource Scheduling (MRS) module. It is used to define and manage resources in an organization. The RMG allows users to create and manage groups of resources, such as employees, machines, or materials, and assign them to tasks or projects. This helps to ensure that the right resources are available when needed.

    How to use it:
To use the RMG, users must first create a resource group. This can be done by selecting the “Create Resource Group” option from the MRS menu. Once the group is created, users can add resources to it by selecting the “Add Resources” option from the MRS menu. Resources can then be assigned to tasks or projects by selecting the “Assign Resources” option from the MRS menu.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a resource group, it is important to consider how resources will be used in order to ensure that they are assigned correctly. For example, if a task requires multiple resources, it may be beneficial to create a resource group that contains all of the necessary resources. This will ensure that all of the required resources are available when needed.
