Key Concepts: Change documents are used in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to track changes made to master data records. They are created when a user makes a change to a master data record, and they contain information about the change, such as the date and time of the change, the user who made the change, and the type of change that was made. Change documents can also be used to undo changes that have been made. How to use it: To create a change document, open the master data record that you want to modify and make your changes. Once you have saved your changes, a change document will be created automatically. To view the change document, go to the Change Documents tab in the master data record. Here you will see a list of all the changes that have been made to this record. Tips & Tricks: When making changes to master data records, it is important to remember that all changes are tracked in the change document. This means that if you make a mistake or need to undo a change, you can easily do so by viewing the change document and selecting the appropriate action.
