Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
A load package is a collection of objects that are transferred from one SAP system to another. It is used to transport data, programs, and other objects between different SAP systems. The load package is created in the source system and then transported to the target system. In the target system, the load package is imported and the objects are activated.

    How to use it:
To create a load package, go to the Transport Organizer (transaction code SE01) in the source system. Select “Create” and enter a name for the load package. Then select the objects you want to include in the package and click “Save”. Once you have saved the package, you can transport it to the target system using the same transaction code.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a load package, make sure that all of the objects you are including are compatible with each other. This will ensure that they can be successfully imported into the target system. Additionally, it is important to check that all of the objects have been included in the package before transporting it.

    Related Information:
The CA-GTF-TS Technical Application Support component of SAP provides support for transporting data between different SAP systems. It includes tools for creating and managing load packages, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise during transport.
