  • Key Concepts:
Validity Interval is a feature of SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM) that allows users to define the period of time during which a change is valid. This feature helps to ensure that changes are only applied during the specified period, and that any changes made outside of this period are not applied.

    How to use it:
To use the Validity Interval feature, users must first define the start and end dates for the validity period. This can be done in the Change Master Data screen in SAP ECM. Once the start and end dates have been defined, any changes made outside of this period will not be applied.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to note that the Validity Interval feature only applies to changes made in SAP ECM. Changes made outside of SAP ECM will not be affected by this feature.
