  • Key Concepts:
Selection parameters are used in the CA-FS-POL Process Object Layer of SAP to define the criteria for selecting objects from a database. They are used to filter out objects that do not meet the criteria and to narrow down the search results. Selection parameters can be used to specify conditions such as object type, object name, and object status.

    How to use it:
To use selection parameters in SAP, first select the object type you want to search for. Then, enter the selection parameters that you want to use to filter out objects that do not meet your criteria. Finally, click on the “Search” button to execute the search and view the results.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using selection parameters, it is important to remember that they are case sensitive. This means that if you enter a parameter in all lowercase letters, it will only match objects with parameters in all lowercase letters. Additionally, it is important to remember that selection parameters are cumulative, meaning that each parameter you enter will further narrow down your search results.
