SAP Term: expired

Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Expired is a term used in SAP's Data Protection and Privacy Consent Management (CA-DPP-CM) component. It refers to the status of a consent record when the validity period of the consent has ended. This means that the user has not given permission for their data to be used beyond the specified date.

    How to use it:
When a user's consent expires, the system will no longer allow any data processing activities related to that consent. The user must provide new consent before any further processing can take place. The expiration date of a consent can be set by the user or by an administrator.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to keep track of when a user's consent expires, as this will ensure that data processing activities are not carried out without the user's permission. It is also important to remind users when their consent is about to expire, so that they can provide new consent if they wish.
