  • Key Concepts:
Redlining is a feature of the SAP CA-DMS Document Management System (DMS) that allows users to make changes to documents without altering the original document. It allows users to add comments, highlight text, and draw shapes on documents. The changes are stored separately from the original document, allowing users to review and compare the changes before deciding whether or not to accept them.

    How to use it:
To use redlining in SAP CA-DMS, open the document you want to edit and select the “Redlining” option from the toolbar. This will open a new window with a toolbar containing various tools for making changes. You can use these tools to add comments, highlight text, draw shapes, and more. Once you have finished making your changes, click “Save” to save them.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using redlining in SAP CA-DMS, it is important to remember that the changes you make are not permanent until you save them. This means that if you make a mistake or change your mind about a change you have made, you can simply close the window without saving and your changes will be discarded.
