  • Description: Master record containing all information necessary to manage a document. The data is sorted according to various criteria. A document info record contains both descriptive data such as language and laboratory and control data such as change number and status. In addition to this data, which can be maintained by the user, other data is updated automatically by the system such as hierarchy indicator. PLM-WUI-APP A master data record in the ERP system that is used for managing original document files of any kind in the SAP ERP system. Document management at SAP has two sides: on one side are the originals, which can be in any format, and on the other side is the document info record, which makes the originals available to other SAP objects by means of object links. The originals can be stored in several storage areas, and can be displayed and edited directly from the document info record.
