  • Key Concepts:
Content version is a feature of the SAP Document Management System (CA-DMS) that allows users to store multiple versions of a document in the same location. This feature allows users to keep track of changes made to a document over time, and to easily revert back to an earlier version if needed.

    How to use it:
To use content version, users must first create a document in the CA-DMS. Once the document is created, users can save multiple versions of the document in the same location. To do this, users must select the “Save as Version” option from the menu bar. This will create a new version of the document with a unique version number. Users can then make changes to this version and save it as another version.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating multiple versions of a document, it is important to give each version a meaningful name or description so that users can easily identify which version they are working on. Additionally, users should always save their work frequently in order to avoid losing any changes they have made.
