  • Description: A business object that is relevant to the master project. Individuals can be assigned to specific roles in a master project. The content of the Project Workspace that is available to a user is dependent upon the assigned role.

    A role in SAP Commercial Project Management (CA-CPD) is a set of authorizations that define the tasks and activities a user can perform in the system. It is a way to control access to certain functions and data within the system. 
    
    How to use it: 
    Roles are assigned to users in the system, and they can be changed or modified as needed. To assign a role to a user, go to the “User Administration” tab in the SAP Commercial Project Management system. Select the user you want to assign a role to, then select the “Roles” tab. From there, you can select the roles you want to assign to that user.
