Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Exclusion condition is a feature of the SAP Available-to-Promise (ATP) component. It allows users to define conditions that will prevent certain items from being included in the ATP check. This can be used to exclude certain items from being considered for availability checks, such as items that are not in stock or items that are not available for sale.

    How to use it:
Exclusion conditions can be set up in the SAP system by going to the ATP configuration screen and selecting the “Exclusion Conditions” tab. Here, users can define conditions that will prevent certain items from being included in the ATP check. For example, users can specify that only items with a certain material group should be included in the check, or that only items with a certain price should be included.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up exclusion conditions, it is important to consider how they will affect the accuracy of the ATP check. If too many items are excluded, then the results of the check may not be accurate. It is also important to consider how often the exclusion conditions need to be updated, as changes in inventory or pricing may require changes to the exclusion conditions.
