In SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the scope definition is executed in the Configure Your Solution app. Note that in SAP S/4HANA, the scope of product availability checks is defined in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide transaction SPRO > Cross-Application Components > Advanced Available-to-Promise aATP > Product Availability Check PAC > Configure Scope of Availability Check.

    Configure Scope of Availability Check is a feature of the SAP CA-ATP Available-to-Promise (ATP) component. It allows users to define the scope of an availability check, which is used to determine whether a requested quantity of a material can be delivered on time. The scope of the check can be configured to include factors such as stock, planned orders, and production orders. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To configure the scope of an availability check, users must first access the CA-ATP Available-to-Promise (ATP) component in SAP. Once in the component, users can select the “Configure Scope of Availability Check” option from the menu. This will open a window where users can select which factors should be included in the availability check. These factors include stock, planned orders, and production orders. Once all desired factors have been selected, users can save their configuration and begin running availability checks. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When configuring the scope of an availability check, it is important to consider which factors are most important for your business. For example, if you are primarily concerned with stock levels, then you may want to limit the scope of your availability check to only include stock levels. On the other hand, if you are more concerned with production orders, then you may want to include production orders in your availability check.
