  • Description: Meta Object Facility A standard recognized by the Object Management Group OMG, which specifies guidelines for defining metadata models and provides programming tools for saving and accessing metadata in repositories. The MOF standard is integrated in XMI. The current MOF specifications are available on the OMG home page. A metadata service, which adheres to the MOF specifications.
