Description: Web item that displays query information on which the query view, and consequently the Web application, are based. You can select individual text elements to be displayed in the Web application. The 'text element' Web item can contain variables, static filter values, and general text elements for example, technical name of the query, the query key date, or query author.

Text elements are stored in the BW repository and can be accessed by all users. How to use it: Text elements can be created, edited, and deleted in the BW repository. To create a text element, open the BW repository and select the “Text Elements” folder. Then click “Create” to open the Text Element Editor. Enter the text information into the editor and click “Save” to save the text element. Tips & Tricks: When creating a text element, it is important to ensure that the text is accurate and up-to-date. Text elements should also be kept as short as possible to ensure that they are easy to read and understand.
