Component: BW-BEX
Component Name: Business Explorer
Description: Organization of information in a report in the form of a table with a fixed number of columns, and a variable, runtime-dependent number of rows.
Key Concepts: Dynamic sections are a feature of the BW-BEX Business Explorer component of SAP. They allow users to create and modify sections of a query in order to customize the data they are viewing. This feature allows users to quickly and easily adjust the data they are viewing without having to recreate the entire query. How to use it: Dynamic sections can be created by selecting the “Create Dynamic Section” option from the “Query” menu. This will open a dialog box where users can enter the name of the section and select which characteristics and key figures they want to include in the section. Once the section is created, users can modify it by selecting “Modify Dynamic Section” from the “Query” menu. This will open a dialog box where users can add or remove characteristics and key figures from the section. Tips & Tricks: When creating dynamic sections, it is important to remember that only characteristics and key figures that are included in the query can be added to a dynamic section. Additionally, it is important to note that dynamic sections cannot be used in combination with other features such as variables or restricted key figures.
