  • Key Concepts:
Creation rights are a type of permission in SAP BusinessObjects Explorer that allow users to create and save their own reports and documents. This permission is typically granted to users who have a need to create their own reports and documents, such as administrators or power users.

    How to use it:
To grant creation rights to a user, an administrator must first log into the SAP BusinessObjects Explorer application. Then, they must navigate to the “Manage Users” section and select the user they wish to grant creation rights to. Finally, they must select the “Create” option from the list of permissions and click “Save”.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to note that granting creation rights does not automatically give a user access to all data sources. The user must still be granted access to each data source they wish to use in their reports and documents.
