What is fragment bookmark in SAP BI-RA-AD - SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio?

  • Description: A user-defined shortcut that is used to serialize and save a fragment or part of an analysis application. The elements of the analysis application that are to be persisted must be saved within a single container component. Any component or components inside the specified container, including the container itself, will be serialized.

    Fragment bookmarks are a feature of SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio that allow users to save and share specific views of their data. Fragment bookmarks are created by selecting a specific set of data and then saving it as a bookmark. This allows users to quickly access the same view of their data without having to recreate it each time. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a fragment bookmark, select the data you want to save and then click the “Bookmark” button in the toolbar. This will open a dialog box where you can name your bookmark and add a description. Once you have saved your bookmark, you can access it by clicking the “Bookmark” button again and selecting the bookmark from the list. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    Fragment bookmarks can be used to quickly access frequently used views of your data. They can also be shared with other users, allowing them to quickly access the same view of your data.
