Do you have any question about this SAP term?
Component: BC-XI
Component Name: Exchange Infrastructure
Description: Defines the technical details for outbound processing of a message for a specific sender-receiver pair, in other words, how the Integration Server reacts with regard to the receiver of a message. A receiver agreement contains a reference to a communication channel. You define a receiver agreement between a sender and a receiver for an inbound interface. In some collaborative processes the receiver determination is not defined for the actual sender. In this case, the receiver determination can only refer to receiver information and not to sender information.
Key Concepts: A receiver agreement is a document that defines the communication between two systems in SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI). It is used to define the communication protocol, message format, and other technical details of the exchange. It also defines the roles of the sender and receiver systems. How to use it: To create a receiver agreement, you must first define the communication protocol and message format. This can be done in the Integration Builder or in the Integration Directory. Once these details are defined, you can create a receiver agreement in the Integration Directory. Tips & Tricks: When creating a receiver agreement, make sure to specify the correct sender and receiver roles. This will ensure that messages are sent and received correctly. Additionally, make sure to test your receiver agreement before deploying it in production.
