Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Deep-copy mode is a feature of the Floorplan Manager (FPM) Web Dynpro ABAP component in SAP. It allows users to create a copy of an existing FPM configuration, including all of its settings and data, and then modify it as needed. This is useful for creating multiple versions of the same configuration without having to start from scratch each time.

    How to use it:
To use deep-copy mode, first select the FPM configuration you want to copy. Then, go to the “Copy” tab in the FPM configuration editor and select “Deep Copy”. This will create a new copy of the configuration with all of its settings and data intact. You can then make any changes you need to the new configuration.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using deep-copy mode, it is important to remember that any changes you make to the copied configuration will not be reflected in the original configuration. This means that if you make changes to the copied configuration and then decide you want to go back to the original version, you will need to manually undo any changes you made.
