What is index storage ID in SAP BC-TRX - TREX?

  • Description: Only relevant when Retrieval and Classification is implemented outside the Enterprise Portal. One of the keys for an index. The key contains details of the * index category, language, SAP System and, if applicable, the client.

    Index Storage ID is a unique identifier used by SAP TREX to identify an index. It is a 32-character string that is generated when an index is created. It is used to store and retrieve data from the index. 
    
    How to use it: 
    The Index Storage ID can be used to access the index in SAP TREX. It can be used to search for specific data within the index, as well as to delete or modify the index. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating an index, it is important to remember the Index Storage ID as it will be needed for future access. It is also important to keep the Index Storage ID secure, as it can be used to access sensitive data.
