  • Key Concepts:
Relationship type is a feature of the Document Management Services (DMS) component of SAP. It is used to define the relationship between two documents, such as a parent-child relationship or a master-detail relationship. It also allows documents to be linked together in a hierarchical structure.

    How to use it:
In order to use the relationship type feature, you must first create a relationship type in the DMS configuration. This can be done by selecting the “Create Relationship Type” option from the DMS menu. Once the relationship type has been created, it can be used to link documents together in a hierarchical structure.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a relationship type, it is important to consider how the documents will be linked together. For example, if you are creating a parent-child relationship, you should ensure that the parent document is always linked to the child document and vice versa.
