Key Concepts: A pass phrase is a type of authentication used in SAP BC-SEC Security. It is a combination of words, numbers, and symbols that is used to verify the identity of a user. The pass phrase must be entered correctly in order to gain access to the system. How to use it: In order to use a pass phrase, the user must first create one. This can be done by going to the Security tab in the SAP system and selecting “Create Pass Phrase”. The user will then be prompted to enter a combination of words, numbers, and symbols that will be used as their pass phrase. Once the pass phrase has been created, it must be entered correctly each time the user attempts to log into the system. Tips & Tricks: It is important to create a strong pass phrase that is difficult for others to guess. A good pass phrase should include at least 8 characters and should contain both upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. It is also important to remember your pass phrase as it cannot be recovered if forgotten.
