What is domain in SAP BC-SEC - Security?

  • Component Name: Security

  • Description: A group of computers and devices that belong to the same sub-network according to their IP addresses or corresponding aliases. &EXAMPLE& The computers with the aliases host1.company.com IP address = 10.10.100.100, host2.company.com IP address = 10.10.200.200 and host3.company.com IP address = 10.10.300.300 all belong to the domain company.com.
