affiliation - Details

  • Key Concepts: Affiliation is a concept in SAP BC-SEC Security that allows users to be associated with one or more organizational units. This allows users to access data and resources that are associated with the organizational unit they are affiliated with.
How to use it: In order to use affiliation, users must first be assigned to an organizational unit. This can be done by an administrator or by the user themselves. Once the user is assigned to an organizational unit, they will be able to access any data or resources associated with that unit.
Tips & Tricks: It is important to remember that affiliation is not the same as authorization. Authorization is the process of granting users access to certain data or resources, while affiliation is simply the process of associating a user with an organizational unit.
