  • Key Concepts:
Delayed authentication is a security feature in SAP BC-SEC-USR User Administration that allows users to authenticate themselves at a later time. This feature is used to protect user accounts from unauthorized access. It requires users to enter a one-time code sent to their registered email address or mobile phone number before they can log in.

    How to use it:
To enable delayed authentication, go to the User Administration tab in SAP BC-SEC-USR and select the “Delayed Authentication” option. Enter the user’s email address or mobile phone number and click “Save”. The user will then receive a one-time code via email or SMS which they must enter before they can log in.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to ensure that the user’s email address or mobile phone number is up-to-date and correct, as this is where the one-time code will be sent. Additionally, it is recommended that users enable two-factor authentication for added security.
