Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
A subset is a group of related data elements that are used to define a specific set of data within an ALE integration technology. It is used to define the data that will be exchanged between two systems. Subsets are created in the ALE Integration Modeler and can be used to define the data that will be sent from one system to another.

    How to use it:
Subsets are created in the ALE Integration Modeler. To create a subset, select the “Create Subset” option from the menu. Then, select the fields that you want to include in the subset and click “Save”. The subset will then be available for use in ALE integration scenarios.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a subset, it is important to consider which fields are necessary for the integration scenario. It is also important to consider which fields should be excluded from the subset, as this can help reduce the amount of data that needs to be exchanged between systems.
