    Interchange Acknowledgement (also known as an Interchange Control Acknowledgement) is a message sent from one system to another to confirm that a message has been received and processed. It is part of the Application Link Enabling (ALE) Integration Technology in SAP.

    Interchange Acknowledgements are used to ensure that messages sent between two systems have been received and processed correctly. When a message is sent, the receiving system will send an Interchange Acknowledgement back to the sender, confirming that the message was received and processed successfully.
