  • Key Concepts: 
    Ports Manager is a component of the BC-JAS Java Application Server. It is responsible for managing the communication ports used by the server to communicate with other applications. It also provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for configuring and managing the ports. 
    
    How to use it: 
    Ports Manager can be accessed from the SAP NetWeaver Administrator (NWA) console. Once in the NWA, select the “Java Application Server” tab and then select “Ports Manager” from the left-hand menu. This will open up the Ports Manager GUI, which allows you to configure and manage the ports used by the server. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When configuring ports, it is important to ensure that they are not conflicting with any other applications or services running on the same server. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all ports are properly secured to prevent unauthorized access.
