What is exception list in SAP BC-I18-UNI - I18N Unicode?

  • Component Name: I18N Unicode

  • Description: Unicode Preconversion MDMP -> Unicode Tables, which shall be excluded from the entire preparation of the MDMP conversion, can be added to the Exception List. Words from these tables are not added to the System Vocabulary and can be assigned a code page that is different from the Global Fallback Code Page. Example: A table which is only used for Japanese data can be added to the Exception List and assigned the code page 8000. The Exception List is divided into a Customer List and a Default List.
