What is checkpoint mode in SAP BC-I18-UNI - I18N Unicode?


SAP Term: checkpoint mode

  • Component: BC-I18-UNI

  • Component Name: I18N Unicode

  • Description: Unicode conversion preparation: Optional mode which can be used to process large tables in predefined portions. If a job is cancelled while a table is being processed, a log is written and a new worker job can begin reprocessing at that point where the first job ended. Without the checkpoint mode a new worker job must reprocess the entire table.
