  • Description: The typing kind is used in tools of the ABAP Workbench - for example, in the ABAP Dictionary or in the Class or Function Builder - to specify how a data type is related to the type. Examples of typing kinds are TYPE, TYPE REF TO, or TYPE ... BOXED. The type reference in the Workbench corresponds to the use of the same-name additions in the ABAP language.
