• Description: Prerequisite for using repository objects within the scope of the package concept Repository objects are normally visible within a package, which means that they can be used by one another. Repository objects that have been exposed on a package interface of a server package are visible to all possible client packages as long as they are not explicitly excluded by the access control list of the server interface. Only visible objects can be used in other packages. By default, repository objects from superpackages are not visible to the subpackages. They can, however, explicitly be made visible internally by activating the "Visible for Subpackages" setting. In contrast, all repository objects from subpackages are implicitly visible in the superpackage. An access control list ACL can be used to restrict access to the exposed repository objects of a package interface.
