  • Key Concepts:
GUI status is a feature of the SAP Workbench Tools, which includes Editors, Painters, and Modelers. It is a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to view and manage the status of their workbench tools. The GUI status provides an overview of the current status of the tools, including the number of open windows, the number of objects in each window, and the current state of each object.

    How to use it:
To use the GUI status, open the Workbench Tools window and select the “Status” tab. This will display a list of all open windows and their associated objects. The list will also show the current state of each object, such as “Open” or “Closed”. To view more detailed information about an object, select it from the list and click “Details”. This will open a window with additional information about the object, such as its name, type, and size.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using the GUI status, it is important to remember that it only displays information about open windows and objects. If you close a window or delete an object, it will no longer be displayed in the GUI status. Additionally, if you make changes to an object while it is open in a window, those changes will not be reflected in the GUI status until you save them.

    Related Information:
The GUI status is part of SAP's Workbench Tools suite, which also includes Editors, Painters, and Modelers. These tools are used to create and modify objects within SAP systems. For more information about these tools and how to use them, please refer to SAP's official documentation.
