  • Description: A repository object uses other repository objects by, for example, calling or referencing them. How the repository objects are used dependson the packages to which they are assigned. A distinction must be made between internal and external objects in the package: Repository objects can always be used within their package. The visible repository objects of the subpackages can be used implicitly in the superpackage without a dependency control list. External objects can be used in a different package if they have been exposed on a package interface of the server package and the dependency of the corresponding package interface on the client side has been declared using a dependency control list. This means that this dependency may, in certain cases, have to be extended on the client sideover several levels, from the direct client package up to the superpackage of the client package at the same level as the server package its parallel package.
